EPRR/Business Continuity Policy/Disaster Recovery Consultant
100% remote working
3-6 month contract
£400-£500 per day Outside IR35 (If you have a notice period of longer than 2 weeks’, you need not apply)
We are looking for an experienced EPRR/Business Continuity Policy/Disaster Recovery Consultant to work with a leading consultancy to deliver business continuity policy and plans on behalf of an international health care organisation. This role is fully remote, with immediate start.
The purpose of this role is to create a comprehensive and robust disaster recovery policy and guidance, which can be replicated in the UK and overseas. The goals of the plan are to minimize the interruptions of normal operations, limit the extent of disruption and damage, minimize the economic impact of the interruption, establish alternative means of operation in advance, identify and map core digital capabilities and interconnectivity and to provide for smooth and rapid restoration of service in the event of a major incident.
About you:
- You must be immediately available
- You must have BCP experience - including the ability to write robust BCP policy & plans
- You will have a proven track record of IT/Digital Systems BCP
- You will have had extensive experience working in Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR), Business Continuity Policy (BCP) or Disaster Recovery
- Disaster recovery experience within the health care sector is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven communications strategy and plans
- Have managed supply chains
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Excellent understanding of operational, financial and reputational implications of major disruption
- Able to identify technology implications and identify the criticality of the various digital systems to the business
